‘Haikyu!! Concert 2017’ revealed a unique new visual, drawn especially for this event! The image shows Tobio Kageyama as a conductor while Shoyo Hinata is holding the score.
They are both wearing swallow-tailed coats for the concert, and there is a black dog and a white dog in swallow-tailed coats standing beside them. Kageyama looks very cool as a conductor!! Hinata holding the score with a serious face is cute as well!!
The two composers that handle the background music for Haikyu!! have shared their thoughts:
Yuki Hayashi: ‘I love working for Haikyu!! as it has good story, script, animation, voice actors, songs and an illustration of my girl! (*Hayashi’s loving dog, Kuroe) Volleyball is a sport in which you always have to look up!!Thank you.’
Asami Tachibana: ‘I feel very happy to be able to create music for the work that is loved by many people. I have been making music for the Haikyu!! series, but I still can’t believe that a concert featuring my music will be held. Everything is fantastic from the direction to the animation, and in a sense, I am enjoying my youth again with Hinata and others as I didn’t play sports when I was a student. I will be doing my best! I hope many people will enjoy the concert!!’
The anime has ended but the power of Haikyu!! doesn’t seem to be ending soon. We can’t wait to find out what’s coming next!
