Read on to find out about the official teaser site, watch a PV, and see some key visuals!
We also have a comment by the author Kouji Seo, and some news that will make all fans really happy!
Fūka (風夏) is written and illustrated by Kouji Seo, and has been serialized since 2014. It tells the story of Yu Haruna who is supposed to transfer to a high school in Tokyo, of Fūka Akitsuki, a girl who listens to music all the time, and of Fūka’s childhood friend and singer Koyuki Hinashi. This work shares the same worldview as Seo’s masterpieces, Suzuka and A Town Where you Live.
Fūka is probably the daughter of the main protagonists of Suzuka, Yamato Akitsuki and Asahina Suzuka.
Fūka appears in the teaser video standing on a roof in the wind while listening to music. The video pays extra attention to the sounds: We are able to hear the sound of the wind overshadowing the faint sound of the music leaking from Fūka’s headphones. This video has increased our expectations.
Fūka drawing is impressive: there s a pleasant color contrast between her light blue hair and her red headphones.
Kouji Seo said that he has put a lot of thinking on the anime adaptation of Fūka, and that he is really happy about the end result.. Seo commented: ‘I’m looking forward to the stories Yu, Fūka, and Koyuki will share with us.’
Details about the cast, the broadcast schedule, or the staff and music haven’t been revealed yet.
We will keep you up to date!
Until now eleven volumes of the manga Fūka have been published. The twelfth volume will be realeased on August 17.
