The newest addition to the Fate series, the famous game that has spread into various media such as anime and novels, will be the TV anime Fate/Apocrypha, based on the novel of the same name by Yuichiro Higashide / Type-Moon. It has been confirmed that the series will start airing on 1 July 2017.
The new visual depicts the main character Sieg and the 15th of the summoned servants who was summoned by the Holy Grail itself to serve as Ruler and to watch over the Holy Grail War. A new TV commercial has also aired, featuring the two characters!
The TV commercials are due to air late at night on Saturdays for 3 weeks. The first commercial is called ‘Ruler’ and began airing on 10 June. The second will be titled ‘Black Faction / Red Faction’ and will air on 17 June. The third and final commercial will air on 24 June and will be titled ‘The Great Holy War Begins.’
