A concert for the TV anime Dance with Devils was held at Kanagawa Prefectural Civic Hall on January 29, 2017. The concert was titled ‘Dance with Devils Special Concert “Double Curtain Call”’.
The event was the fourth cast event for Dance with Devils and six voice actors appeared on-stage: Souma Saitou, Wataru Hatano, Takashi Kondou, Subaru Kimura, Daisuke Hirakawa and Yuuto Suzuki.
First, five members of the cast (Saitou, Hatano, Kondou, Kimura and Hirakawa) appeared and started singing the ending theme mademo★iselle. At the end of the song, the surprise guest Yuuto Suzuki (Jek) also joined them and the 6 voice actors gave an amazing performance. They sang the solo songs titled Waga Na wa Rem Arlond by Rem Kaginuki (VA: Souma Saito), Yuuwaku amor by Urie Sogami (VA: Takashi Kondo), and Kimi Dake no Exorcist by Lindo Tachibana (Wataru Hatano). It was then the turn of Jek’s X day, the original song which was made for the musical adaption of Dance with Devils. Everyone was very impressed and excited by their amazing performances.
In the latter half of the event, they performed the unit songs KETTO: Yuzurenai, Semegi Ai by Rem Kuginuki vs. Lindo Tachibana and ×× in the dark” by Mage Nanashiro vs. Shiki Natsumezaka (VA: Subaru Kimura and Daisuke Hirakawa). Last, the six members including Suzuki as Jek sang the ending theme song for the game, BL(U)CK BASIS.
For the encore, a recorded video was played to look back on their memories of Dan-Devi with the song titled Dance with Destinies. Furthermore, a 2017 movie adaption titled Dance with Devils: Fortuna was announced at the end of the video. This was the moment of the event that brought the biggest amount of cheers.
After the video, all cast went on stage again and commented, ‘Thanks to all of you, we could make it!’ They wondered who would get Ritsuka’s heart in the movie adaption. Every one was having fun right until the end.
