The 14th PreCure series Kirakira ☆ PreCure A La Mode will start on February 5, 2017! PreCure is known for having different themes for each season, with previous examples including ‘Wizards’, ‘Princesses’ and ‘Flowers × Fashion’. The theme for this work will be ‘Sweets × Animal’.
The characters will be working in a candy shop so their costumes will combine sweet and colorful sweets with cool and cute animals. They bring out their charm to the max- and of course they are very kawaii!
In addition, this PreCure will not be including the hand-to-hand battles that we associate with previous seasons but battles to make sweets.
We are looking forward to the release of Kirakira ☆ PreCure A La Mode. It will challenge a lot of what we have associated with the series so far.
Kirakira ☆ PreCure A La Mode
Protagonist Usami Ichika is a second-grade junior high school student who loves sweets. When she hears that her mother working abroad is coming home, Ichika decides to make a short cake. This is when she meets the hungry Pecorin. [NB: ‘peko peko’ is the Japanese onomatopoeia for an empty stomach!]
The short cake Ichika makes is filled with her love and overflowing with the energy ‘Kirakiraru.’ However, an evil fairy aiming for ‘Kirakiraru’ appears, making the shortcake black.
To protect the short cake with the feeling of ‘love’, Ichika turns into the legendary patissier PreCure ‘Cure Whip’ …!
The story of five PreCures will start at the sweets shop ‘Patisserie’ to protect the sweets filled with their love!
