Game Freak Inc., the game developer best known for its Pokemon series, officially released its new computer game GIGA WRECKER on February 7 via Steam, the online game store.
An operating system of Windows 7 or newer is required to play, and the game is available for 1,980 yen (excluding tax).
Giga Wrecker is a 2D action game in which protagonist Reika explores the world ruled by an evil robot army. By using her super power called ARCHE (Arms Creating and Handling Effect), Reika can break and merge together rubble in any shape!
This is an action-and-puzzle game, in which the player can move on the stages only by transforming the rubbles in a particular shape.
The game’s graphic concept designer is Asagiri, the illustrator who has also joined the making of TV anime BUBUKI/BURANKI, and the music and sound was produced by Shinji Hosoe.

Giga Wrecker’s soundtrack was also released on the same day, including new songs that are not used in the game. You can re-experience the game world by listening to this album! Now is the best time to purchase the game and soundtrack as a set, for they are offered at a discounted price of 2,185 yen to commemorate their release!
