In the February issue of Manga Time Kirara Carat (Houbunsha), which went on sale on December 28, it has been revealed that Miyuki Nakayama’s Blend S will be adapted into TV animation.
Blend S is a 4-panel manga series which takes place in the café Stil. The cafe employs waitresses of different character-types: ‘traps’ (boys who look like girls), tsundere (a girl who is usually cold, but shows a warm side from time to time), younger sister, older sister, and more. Maika Sakuranomiya was rejected by many part-time jobs because she always has an angry look on her face. However, one day, she is passionately scouted by one of Stile’s manager to work as a sadistic-character waitress, and this is how the story begins.
Carat’s February issue includes a special illustration and a comment by Nakayama, commemorating the anime adaptation. Neither the anime’s release date nor its production company has been announced yet.
