Anime movie Blame! will be screened at Annecy International film Festival 2017. The festival will take place on 12-17 June 2017 in Annecy, France and is one of the biggest animation film festivals in the world. It began in 1960 as a part of the Cannes Film Festival and later became its own festival, specializing in animated movies.
Blame! will be screened on 16 June 2017 at the Bonlieu Grande Salle, the greatest hall of the venue that fits up to 945 viewers. Marcel Jean, the Art Director of the Annecy Film Festival, personally chose Blame! to be shown as a feature film and said it is an honor to be able to show the anime at such a large-scale festival like the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. He claimed that there is no doubt that it is the best animated sci-fi movie he saw in recent years and that the strong story drew him in from the start. He expects it to become a movie that will gain many fans.
Otaku in France, this is your chance to watch the movie live on the big screen! We can’t wait to see how it will be received by the viewers in Europe.
