The villagers in Denki Ryoushi, a small village located in the corner of the City have been facing complete extinction due to the Safeguard’s menace and chronically lasting food shortage. While a girl (named Zuru) from the village set off on a journey to seek out food for the village, she got instantly detected by the “Observation Tower” and attacked by a group of the Safeguards.
