Hello! I am Kitahata, the editor-in-chief at MANGA.TOKYO. I live in Japan and turn press releases from Japanese companies into articles that are easy for those outside of Japan to understand. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
The anime movie Blame! will have a special screening called Toha Heavy Audio (Toha Juon) that will place emphasis on the audio. During the anniversary of Blame!’s publication, Knights of Sidonia The Movie will re-run with an intro featuring Blame!
Audio Director Yoshikazu Iwanami personally articulated the plan at each movie’s studio. Under Director Iwanami’s instruction, the audio system will let you enjoy a sound so dynamic and superb that it will change the visual aspects of the film.
The anime movie Blame! will be screened for a limited period of two weeks from Saturday 20 May 2017. The staff of Knights of Sidonia have rallied together once again, with full cooperation from the original artist, Tsutomu Nihei. They have created a brand new story for Blame!
If you have a chance to visit Japan, please be sure to try it out!
To celebrate the release of Blame!, it has been decided that Knights of Sidonia will have a rerun.
This screening has the beginning of Blame! featured so we recommend watching Blame! in the theaters as soon as possible.
