It has been announced that Hiromi Takashima’s yuri manga Asagao to Kase-san (published by Shinshokan) will receive a mini anime! An official website and Twitter account were opened on Thursday 23 March.
This 5-minute animation uses the song Kimi no Egao (album ver) from Hanako Oku’s 6th album good-bye (2012) as a theme. The full version will be available on YouTube soon, but a small clip will also be shown at the upcoming event AnimeJapan 2017 on Saturday 25 March.
The animation has been produced by ZEXCS who are know for Fune wo Amu and will be responsible for the Spring 2017 anime Frame Arms Girl. The director will be Takuya Sato (STEINS;GATE, Ichigo Marshmallow) and the character designer and chief animation director will be Kyuta Sakai (STEINS;GATE, Re: Zero kara Hajimaru Isekai Seikatsu).
We are looking forward to seeing how the delicate expressions of the girls will be adapted.
