The five-member Japanese group have a strict hierarchy filled with military ranks (just see the band members section below) and an infatuation with ancient history. Their music is a peculiar mix of gothic rock and heavy metal with electronic and classical touches.
The belief modern humans have in fairies has lessened over the years. With our music, we aim for the reconstruction of the fairy world devastated by this lack of belief
Many of their songs contain Greek, German, Nordic, and Latin words: ‘Asgard’ in 2010; ‘Kūsō Mesologie’ (空想メソロギヰ, Fantasy Mesology) in 2011; Pax Vesania in 2013; ‘Kyūsei Argyros’ (救世Άργυρóϛ) in 2014. Their connection with the anime industry is extensive and you may know the band from the opening themes for Mirai Nikki (Future Diary), Magical Pokan, Innocent Venus, Kurokami: The Animation, The Qwaser of Stigmata, Mai-HiME video game, Big Order, and the Tokyo ESP soundtrack. Yui also voiced a character in Black Butler.
