“Koukaku no Pandora” , another manga that Masasume Shirow, a guy who also drew the manga “Ghost in the Shell”, drew, had high expectations not only from Japan but also overseas.
The movie that was released before the anime got good feedback and that was why I really looked forward to the anime too.
The fact that the protagonist is a full-body cyborg girl makes me feel really excited for the anime.
<Summary of the 1st episode>
Nene Nanakorobi, a full-body cyborg girl, on the request of her relatives, went to the artificial Cenancle Island. However, what was waiting for her on the island was heavily armed terrorists and an extraordinary life?
Masasume Shirow x Kōshi Rikudō x Studio Gokumi are going to bring this buddy action anime to the world very soon!!
The full-body cyborg girl, Nene, is drawn as a very loving character. This anime is like “Ghost in the Shell” with a strong taste of comedy and gags.
The fact that Atsuko Tanaka, the voice actress for Moyoko Kusanagi in the anime “Ghost in the Shell”, is voicing Uzaru Derira is something to look forward to. There are still many mysteries about the story of the anime itself, but I really look forward to the second episode and beyond.
In general, Nene is really cute and the quality of the comedy touch is really interesting, the anime itself might be a bit leaning towards to GL?
