“This is incredible, I love Succubus erotic dream service!”
While walking around the town, Kazuma runs into a fellow traveller. He invites Kazuma to come along with his friends to visit the famous Succubus Dream Shop, where customers can enjoy sexy dreams of their choice.
Kazuma jots down this and that of his fantasy on the questionnaire at the shop, then, goes back home with swelled expectations.
At home, Aqua and the other girls are having a great time. When Kazuma asked what is going on, the girls explained that Darkness’ parents sent her a care package which includes finest wild crabs and a bottle of sake. It’s party time.
Kazuma has to watch his alcohol intake because a deep sleep will prevent him from dreaming. While he is obviously controlling himself more rigorously than usual, Darkness shows care and support just like a good friend would do. Kazuma feels like he is in dilemma; should he enjoy the moment with his friends? Or, should he prioritize his own desire and treat himself a little pleasure…? He finally makes his decision.
Synopsis; Episode 9
Several figures are huddling suspiciously around a shady corner of the town. Kazuma acknowledges that these figures are his fellow adventurers and greets with them. According to these travellers, there is a sexy dream shop run by Succubus a few doors down the alley, and the presence of this shop is a tight-kept secret among male travelers.
They step inside the infamous dream shop, which is brimmed with countless skimpy-cladded Succubus! According to the receptionist, once the contract is signed, Succubus staff sucks out a small amount of energy from the customer, just a little bit, so it won’t affect the customer. In return, the customer will receive a chance to have any wild dream of his choice. One catch: deep sleep will wipe out the likeliness to have a desired dream. So, Kazuma should stay away from excessive drinking tonight, otherwise he won’t enjoy the dream.
Kazuma goes home full of wild anticipations, but once he stepped inside the building, he notices that Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness are obviously excited about something. He asks why, and they explain that Darkness received from her parents a package which contains top-grade wild crabs and Japanese sake.
Aqua demonstrates at the dining table how to enjoy “Kani no Koura Sake” (Japanese sake poured into the shell of crab with a bits of innards, and warmed on direct fire). The other girls want to follow the suit. Kazuma alone, controls himself not to consume any alcohol tonight. This is a trap, he feels frustrated.
In the end, Kazuma retreats to his room, but he finds himself too nervous to fall in asleep. He thinks that a hot bath can help him fall sleep.
Once he soaks himself in hot water, he starts dozing off, maybe because he is too tired from everything that happened today. He comes around when he hears a small noise, and to his surprise, he finds naked Darkness on the bath floor.
Kazuma is in disbelief; he can’t remember whther if he wrote something on questionnaire that might have suggested Darkness or this situation in front of him. He shakes off some confusions, and decides to enjoy this dream. Darkness on the other hand appears to be obviously alarmed and clueless as to what is going on. Nonetheless, Kazuma fires up erotic requests to her, one after another. At a crucial moment, Aqua’s blustery shout shakes down the entire building.
“How can you mess up my wild dream?!” Kazuma jumps up naked and runs to the source of the voice, and then he finds a young Succubus trapped by Aqua. Finally, Kazuma understands how the Succubus Dream System really works. While he decides to protect this helpless Succubus, Aqua and Darkness want to exorcise the little imp. Kazuma stands up for her.
Darn, Kazuma is really heart throbbing here!
The voice of the receptionist Succubus is Kotono Mitsuishi – I was, like, blown away, what a gorgeous casting. I imagine the fans of her works from Sailor Moon and Eva were tantalized with this episode.
And… crab! Oh so delicious crab! Kani no Koura Sake, are you kidding?!
Crab and Japanese sake makes a perfect pairing. If you live in Japan, you can try that at a high-end Japanese style restaurant. Do try Koura Sake if you have a chance. It’s addicting.
A destroyer alert permeates the entire village! Next episode marks the last story of this season. I can’t wait!
