Pony Canyon and A-1 Pictures Present An Original Anime Project!
Characters by Kantoku and a script by Shimo Fumihiko, combine with direction by Ishihama Masashi to create a brand new animation title: Garakowa – Restore the World.
“Restore the world.” “A beautiful world found by a young girl.” “The place one must return to.” When all these ideas comes together, a shocking dramatic adventure takes place.
Garakowa – Restore the World is an animation concept developed from D.backup, an original idea created by up-and-coming creative unit Physics Point. D.backup won the Pony Canyon “Animeka Taisho” grand prize, and was successfully developed into a feature-length animation.

This is where Dual and Dorothy spend their days, battling the viruses that attempt to infiltrate the various worlds within the Box. Their mission, as dedicated anti-virus programs, is to eradicate tainted data.
The data is collected by another entity called Mother, an environment management program within the ViOS system. Mother continues to gather data, even after the extinction of the humans.
One day, Dual and Dorothy encounter a young girl under attack from viruses, and save her.
She calls herself Remo, but appears to have lost all her memories.
Dual and Dorothy must traverse the Box of Wisdom to seek out Remo’s true identity.
What is Mother’s true purpose? What is creating all the viruses? And who is this strange young girl?
The girls will find shocking revelations at the horizons of their journey.
