From the previous episode of “Dimension W” the new chapter has begun. This time, the first half goes to Kyoma’s reflection on his past incidents, and the latter half goes to the development of a new story. The seventh episode begins with the scene where Kyoma meets Miyabi. Alright, let’s move on to the highlights now.
Synopsis: Episode 7
The opening scene is Kyoma’s flashback on his first encounter with Miyabi. His reflection continues to the event that opens his path to Superhuman Unit “Grendel.” Five years from the accident. Easter Island is chosen yet again as the battlefield. Prince Salva summons renowned “Coil Collectors” to Easter Island. They board the Aerial Commander Mothership “Grodia” bound to Easter Island. Kyoma and Mira choose their own vessel to head to the destinations.
Kyoma’s Dark Past
The identity of the mysterious girl named “Miyabi,” the objective of Grendel, the accident of five years ago, and the reason why Kyoma hates Coil – all these mysteries that were woven into Kyoma’s miserable past are finally untangled.
Kyoma’s unfortunate past has a deep connection with Coils. He met Miyabi when he was a high school student. Soon, the two fell in love. Their happy lives together lead to unexpected news; Miyabi was struck with an incurable disease. The entire muscles of the body gradually deteriorate over time. She was sentenced to live five years at most.
Kyoma rushed to the high-ranking Coil prosthetic researcher Seira Yurizaki for help. Her bodyguards knocked Kyoma down.
The chief of the bodyguards, Colin Keys, noticed Kyoma’s extraordinary physical ability and recruited him to his Superhuman Unit that he called Grendel. It’s the special team organized by Dr. Shido Yurizaki. Colin persuaded Kyoma to join, as it would open a path to give Miyabi a privilege to volunteer for the Coil-supported artificial body research and test subject. Kyoma decided to accept the offer.
Subsequently Kyoma and Miyabi married.
One day, Kyoma went to an assigned mission of Grendel. The mission objective is to recapture facilities in northern Easter Island from the enemy. During the fierce combat, Kyoma’s memory abruptly became blurred.
When he came around, he was lying in a hospital bed. Albert told him that Grendel won the war; however, Kyoma and Albert was the only survivor of the Easter Island mission.
Kyoma also learned that his love Miyabi didn’t survive her Coil-supported whole-body prosthetic operation. Dr. Yurisaki explained that during the operation the Coil triggered an unexpected accident and blast off Miyabi’s whole head.
From the day that he lost most important thing in his life because of the Coils, Kyoma became to loathe anything about Coils, and lost the meaning of life. What a sad story…

The latter half of the show dedicates to the launch of a brand new chapter. Prince Salva brings selected Coil Collectors to the Easter Island. Many new faces are found in this mix.

America’s Best Collector “Hero” by Jason Chrysler
America’s No.2 Collector “Hitman” by K.K.

Adding to the party, the Loser and his daughter Elizabeth on board.
Of course, Kyoma and Mira are on the way to the Easter Island on their own.
