The second series of the TV animation, plus, a sequel to the live-action film version has been announced.
Koro Sensei – a powerful creature that moves at Mach 20 and yields tremendous power – has not only declared that he is ready to destroy the Earth by March next year, but also volunteered to be the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School. The students of 3-E are so underperforming and discriminated against by the rest of the school, that the class is dubbed as “End Class,” as in, E for the end. The students of 3-E are commissioned to kill their homeroom teacher for some hefty cash prize. An unusual and unique plot, focusing on assassination theme, delivered with a meticulously crafted storyline, depicts serious and deadly year-long interactions between the teacher and its students. The show gained overwhelming support from a wide range of audience.
At the climax of Season 1 of the television anime series, the students jumped out of the classroom, to launch a massive assassination strategy that was staged on a southern island.
In Season 2, the story moves on to the second semester. The long-awaited second anime series starts in January 2016 on Fuji TV. Behold the new story unfolds between Koro Sensei and its students!
Out of a blue, the moon exploded and 70% of the mass evaporated into space. A mysterious, super powerful creature claimed responsibility for the attack, and, announced that it will blow up the Earth by March next year. No one knew nor understood why the monster came to visit this classroom of a junior high school. Here, the creature claimed to teach the class. Even an army couldn’t kill this monster of transcendental capabilities. Dignitaries all over the world were left with no choice but to delegate the task of monster assassination to the ninth graders, the students of class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School.
And so began the first semester of Class 3-E, led by the extremely bizarre homeroom teacher.
The students of the poor-performing class (nicknamed “End Class”) started transforming through assassination coaching, by going through special assignments, trials, friendships, and connections, something that they have never experienced before. Slowly but steadily, they start building confidence. Eventually, the first semester came to an end, and, the summer break is over now. The second semester is about to begin. The 3-E students must complete their mission of killing their homeroom teacher, Koro Sensei (a word play of a phrase Korosen in Japanese, implying that it is impossible to kill), by their graduation date. Can they pull it off, or…?
