The week’s episode was a special treat. It begins with Seigi fighting a tattoo thief, with Bluesy Fruesy watching from afar and taking notes on Seigi’s combat form. We find out that Seigi is only able to maintain his tattoo drive for ten minutes. Touko on the other hand is starting to show signs of her own tattoo strength after her encounter with Iltutmish in the previous episodes.
While they’re busy with Seigi’s training, Iltutmish attacks Lisa, a nearby tattoo user and a friend of Bluesy Fruesy. When Bluesy Fruesy senses that Lisa needs help, we see both she and Seigi to the rescue. Once Bluesy Fruesy arrives ahead of Seigi, she falls into a trap and Seigi presses on alone. He tries once again to face Iltutmish, but fails to save Lisa.
Back at Team Blue Moon’s home, Tom tries to tell Seigi and Touko to be mindful of their discretion because Seigi is risking his and the members’ of Team Blue Moon freedom if he is discovered. Seigi gets frustrated at Tom for trying to control him. He and Touko take off to make their own path.

Life vs. Death: Seigi gets extremely upset when he sees that Iltutmish has slaughtered all of Lisa’s underlings. Iltutmish claims that leaving loose ends will get you killed.
Kindness vs. Violence: According to Iltutmish, the only way to move forward with power is to advocate violence so that there is no resistance.
This episode has a very fast pace, and we see a lot character development on Seigi, both physically and mentally. While he is getting stronger and more adept in fighting, he is also faced with more adult-like themes and decisions. His plan to run off with Touko is immature, but we still need to acknowledge that he is a middle school student in an adult world.
Additionally, we get to see the human side of Bluesy Fruesy who is adamant about saving Lisa. She gets herself caught in a trap in the midst of her emotional recklessness and the audience can see her distress.
Overall, I think this episode has shown us a lot of promising character development and sets the ground for a lot of interesting episodes in the future.
