Mitsumune saw a body floating in the river, which looked like Yottsun’s. Everyone started searching for it or Yottsun himself but in vain. Hearing a roaring beast in the dark, possibly a bear, they got scared and gave up on searching. Mikage forged an agreement in the party to leave the village. Valkana, however, objected to the suggestion saying he couldn’t just leave Yottsun. The party split into two: one to stay in the village, and the other to leave and go down the mountain. Meanwhile, Mikage suspects that the two tour hosts might have to do something with all of this…
The mysterious beast roars in the dark of the night forced them to give up on searching Yottsun.
Some suggested they’d better leave as they couldn’t live with a strange monster around.
Ten members decided to stay and all the rest set out to leave the village.
The leaving party relied on the map Koharun gave them to walk down the mountain, but the military GPS did not work. Marking trees only led them to fall into utter confusion of coming across the trees they had marked earlier.
Did Koharun change the map? Maybe their compass was inaccurate? What put them into this situation? We can’t help but feel some deliberate and intentional triggering.
Besides, they haven’t yet found out who or what made the roar they heard. Whether a bear, seal or whatever they suggested, the true identity is still veiled.
Every member had a different impression of the roar, and they all heard the roar coming closer to them. Has someone set a loudspeaker or something? Or, is it supposed to be a paranormal phenomenon?
The bus driver claimed that he saw his dead daughter. Yottsun apparently saw someone and then went missing.
Is this village haunted? One of the leaving party also said to have seen a giant Mitsumune in the tunnel.
A non-human existence in this village? Maybe the roar is another part of the paranormal phenomena going on in this place?
Up to this point, the show was all about one mystery leading to another, but suddenly the mood changed and now it’s been creating a horror atmosphere in this episode.
Are the dead gathering in this village? Or is it an illusion?
None of the mysteries are solved, on the contrary, it builds up more.
The farm in the village is another mystery yet to be solved. It’s hard to assume a ghost tending crops. What resides in this village?
It’s a horrendous show with nothing being brought to light yet. The show still continues to be fully enigmatic after four episodes, which is nothing but incredible.
I anxiously await the moment of the big reveal. Can’t really take my eyes off of the show.
