Let’s review episode 10!
Scenario: Episode 10
In a dark kitchen, the chef was chopping an intestine, smiling. This episode started like a horror movie.
The scene changes, and Josuke and Okuyasu were on their way from Keicho’s grave. They decided to go eat at a restaurant near the grave yard.
The special of that day was “Up to the Customer.” Josuke thought it was weird, but Okuyasu was too hungry to care about it, and just entered the restaurant.
The chef, Tonio, traveled all around the world, and adopted all sorts of good things in his recipes. Seeking another good thing to take into his recipe, he arrived at the Town of Morioh in Japan.
Okuyasu asked the chef for a menu, but Tonio said there is no menu in the restaurant because the chef decides what to cook by looking at the customers. Okuyasu tells him he wants to eat what he wants, but Tonio looks at Okuyasu’s right hand and guessed that Okuyasu’s intestine is not in a good condition, and that he lacks of sleep, which was correct. Looking at his left hand, Tonio guessed that Okuyasu has an athlete’s foot, how many cavities he has, and that his left shoulder is tense. Okuyasu was surprised that everything was correct. Tonio said he can tell everything about the body by looking at a hand. Then he left for the kitchen to start cooking.
Okuyasu drank the water the chef served, and he was surprised how tasty the water was saying this water is like the first sip of water after a three-day wander in a desert. He drank it all quickly. Okuyasu was moved so much that he started crying. He wiped off his tears with his handkerchief again and again, but the tears still came out. His tears came out like a waterfall, and Okuyasu’s white of his eyes started shrinking. Josuke figured something was wrong and asked Tonio, but he explains by crying a lot he washes off all the soil in his eyes built up from the lack of sleep, and it fixes his insufficient sleep. In the next moment, Okuyasu’s lack of sleep was healed, and his face looked like he had slept for 10 hours.
The chef first served a salad with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes.
Okuyasu had a bite of the mozzarella cheese, but he said it has no taste at all. Tonio recommended him to eat the mozzarella cheese and tomato together.
Okuyasu did like Tonio said, and he gave better comments than a gourmet reporter. Josuke told him to give him a bite, but Okuyasu ate it all by him self.
Okuyasu’s neck started to heat up and he took off his jacket and itched hard. There was a lot of dead skin on his fingers. Tonio said because of the salad he just ate, his metabolism improved and his blood circulation became better, so rub more. Okuyasu kept itching and he scratched off a soft-ball sized ball of dead skin. Josuke told Okuyasu that he scratched his back so much that its bleeding, but he was happy that his shoulder stiffness got better.
The next dish was a prostitute-style spaghetti. There was red pepper in this dish, and Okuyasu felt sad that he couldn’t eat spicy food. Josuke suspects that Tonio is a Stand user, and told Okuyasu not to eat any of it, but he didn’t listen to him. However, Okuyasu really wanted to eat the spaghetti, and had one bite. Then he couldn’t stop eating, and kept eating very quickly. His cavities fell out while eating, and new teeth grew back instantly. Josuke was sure that Tonio was a Stand user. He broke the plate of spaghetti using his Shining Diamond, and he brought the dish back into the ingredients, and found the Stand in it.
Suddenly, Okuyasu’s stomach started aching.
To reveal what Tonio is plotting, Josuke went to the kitchen without Okuyasu. There, he saw a puppy puking out its intestine after eating the main dish, Lamb with Apple Sauce. Tonio noticed Josuke was there, and threw a knife at him madly. When Josuke was about to start fighting, Okuyasu couldn’t hold and started eating the main dish. Josuke told him not to eat it, but it was too late; his organs came out.
Tonio came after Josuke furiously. It seemed they were going to fight, but Tonio handed Josuke soap commanding him to wash his hands, and he got mad that Josuke came into the Kitchen.
Okuyasu and the puppy, whose organs were popped out, seemed to feel good and happy. Josuke felt that Tonio was not their enemy, and tells him Josuke and Okuyasu are Stand users too.
Tonio’s real nature was just a genuine cook who wants to make his customers happy. Okuyasu was eating the dessert, pudding, and Josuke was cleaning the kitchen as a punishment for going inside the kitchen. Tonio greeted his guests with a smile. This episode seemed like a serious story, but it was a peaceful one, that was the punch line.
In the next episode, Josuke’s father, Joseph will appear!
