But the Fall 2016 season is just around the corner, and with over 60 anime broadcasting from early October, it’s hard to make a list that can satisfy the hunger of all anime fans.
There are original animation works like Shuumatsu no Izetta, Soshin Shojo Matoi, Yuri!!! On ICE, and Sengoku Wildlife Caricatures. There are sequels of popular anime like Natsume’s Book of Friend 5, Haikyu!! Karasuno High VS Shiratorizawa High, and WWW.WORKING.
How do you choose?
The Manga.Tokyo team had a meeting to decide the best of the best. We brought swords and guns and magazines and sleeping bags. It was definitely going to be an all-nighter. We tried to be as objective as possible (which happens to be around 5% since our tastes differ greatly). We managed to narrow it down to the following list full of anime you can be sure will float to the top.
If there is an anime we failed to mention and you know it’s going to be THE BEST, please leave us a comment! There are so many anime this season. Surely we missed a few.
Here is our list of Must-See anime that will start broadcast in October! Enjoy!
Fall 2016 Anime list
We divided the list into four sections:
Probably Awesome Anime
High Expectations Anime
The Rest (imaginative, we know)
☆☆☆☆☆ Must-watch Anime: Put These on your List
We tried to pick titles that cover several anime genres.

Genre: Comedy, Drama, School, Shounen, Sports Airs: October 7 Adapted from: Manga Director: Susumu Mitsunaka Anime production: Production I.G
This is the youth sports anime we are looking forward to the most.
All the characters that appear in the series have their own story and allure. It’s a fantastic motivational anime that keeps us on the edge of our seats in every single episode.
This is the 3rd season and the story features Karasuno High after it defeated its rival Aoba Josei at the semi-final of the High School Volley Miyagi Prefectural Tournament in spring. Now it goes against Shiratorizawa, the strongest team in Miyagi.
If you have not seen Haikyu before, then we recommend you to watch the first and second season now!

It features realistic human relationships between high school girls and as expected of the work by Kyoto Animation Production, it expresses the feelings of characters very well making you inadvertently empathize with them.

Those of you who love existence of Meshi-tero (food porn), adult boys with clean feelings and little children that eat a lot, you will love this series. It’s similar to TV anime series Amaama to Inazuma. Yuuichi Nakamura who acted the main character in Amaama to Inazuma is also acting the main character here. Every Inuzuka-sensei fan should put this anime in her list.
