Summer has arrived and the demi-chans’ hormones are boiling as much as their skin. In Episode 9 of Demi-chan wa Kataritai, get ready to enjoy disgusting references to sweat, as well as an increased number of childish boob jokes.
Japanese Original Episode Title: 亜人ちゃんは試したい
Saki desides to try and seduce Tetsuo; Tetsuo and Yuki are trying to find a way for her to control her powers; Hikari hates the heat; and Machi… well, Machi has a detached head and massive breasts, she doesn’t really need to do much else.
Saki is having a regular night off: she’s locked herself in her house with plenty of beer. As she gets smashed, she pretends her awkwardly serious and definitely non-sexual teddy bear is Tetsuo, who is eager to ‘discipline and educate’ her. Personally, when it comes to sex with inanimate objects, plushies are kind of where I draw the line… Same applies to geometry tools. Saki seems to have different standards than myself and is having the time of her life. Thankfully her screams fade out in the nothingness of the forest.
Ugaki interrupts her heavy masturbation session to encourage her to use her aphrodisiac effect on Tetsuo. Just what every fatherly figure should do. At this point Saki has sort of given up on her principles for Tetsuo’s abnormally muscular hands so she is easily convinced that it’s time for her to unleash her unearthly womanly charms on him.
The next day, she drops by his office and brings him some cookies. The conversation easily escalates from examining the succubus effect on men to her removing a layer of her clothes and unleashing the beasts. Tetsuo stands still and whispers to himself something along the lines of ‘REMEMBER YOUR TRAINING’ as he is about to explode in his pants. Keeping his cool, he directs the conversation to science and other non-sexual context nobody cares about, and Saki enjoys talking to him casually, without trying to sexually frustrate him. Unavoidably, she destroys his focus as her zipper gets stuck under her boobs. You’d think that, having worn this stupid jacket every single day of her life, she would know how to zip it up without it smashing against them. Tetsuo suffers, Saki smiles. Sounds like a very standard human relationship.
Switching to another character, Yuki, who is exchanging manga with Saki without anyone knowing, has this great idea of trying to control her powers. Took her a while. She seeks Tetsuo’s help and finds herself with her feet in a basin, again. Very creative. Tetsuo encourages her to pretend being sad so she can generate her ‘cold air’ aura. Yuki puts all her acting skills to practice and only ends up being embarrassed and producing feet sweat ice cubes. Right when I’m about to say ‘ew, gross’, Hikari and Machi walk in and deep their feet in the same basin, sharing Yuki’s refreshing sweat. I’m done.
Later on, during PE, the girls excersice. Machi runs around while looking at her body from a distance, while Hikari and Yuki are slowly melting because of the heat. As soon as the class is over they move to Tetsuo’s office, and beg him for a watermelon, but he only promises to go bring some popsicles. While he’s gone, Machi says a scary story to ‘bring chills up their spine and cool them down’ – what? – and it’s adorable, cause Machi’s head is the very definition of cuteness. Hikari and Yuki seem uninterested and somehow their conversation leads them to staring at Machi’s boobs, which conveniently have the size of watermelons. Happy summer everyone.
Themes & Trivia
Summer in Japan: Summer in Japan is hot and humid, just like every summer should be. Especially the hot part. England, I’m looking at you, please stop this.
Is watermelon expensive: and the answer is yes – fruits are unbelievable expensive in Japan. They are also considered to be popular gifts. However, when it comes to flavor, they seems to be scoring pretty low. I really feel sorry for the Japanese people, myself having grown up being force fed enormous amounts of delicious cheap fruit. #sorrynotsorry
Cute episode. The boob jokes helped. I do hope there will be some sort of emotional development between Saki and Tetsuo before the season ends… Even though, knowing anime, it’s so not gonna happen. Also, no more feet sweat references, for the love of god.
